Awesome Person Thursday: Gray Scott

This week's A.P.T. is Gray Scott. Gray gave the closing keynote at the first ConnectorCon and blew us all away. Gray is a Futurist which is a fascinating profession that you can read more about here. He also runs the site SeriousWonder which covers all kinds of amazing stories on trends and things that are being built that are beyond our imaginations. Add to that the fact that he is genuine and always giving of his time and talent, and you have a recipe for Awesome.

Figured I'd give this a shot

     So after seeing so many of my friends try out this blog thing, I figured what the heck. I'm going to also make an attempt at posting every day so that I keep myself writing, which I often don't get a chance to do. So who am I? I'm an independent producer. What does it mean to be an independent producer? Well, most of us produce Off-Off Broadway also known as the realm of the Indie Theatre movement. For more info on that click here.  I also have a regular day job teaching at LaSalle Academy, an All Boy's Catholic High School located on the lower East side of Manhattan. I also run this fun little company, which has been around for the past six years. I plan on sharing a bit about producing, writing, networking, and life. I don't have my own office or tons of money, but I do love theatre and producing and I've learned a thing or two in the time I've been here. I look forward to comments from people who may end up reading this. When I was in school, I used to always sign off the same way Stan Lee signed all of his letters in the comic books, so at the risk of being redundant, as I look forward to the trek into the blogosphere....
