When I go to a really nice hotel, I love the fact that when I come back, there is a mint on the pillow. It says to me that the hotel staff decided to take one extra step in making my experience that much more enjoyable. It sounds crazy, but if they stopped providing the mints, I would seriously consider switching hotels.
This is a great time of year to ask yourself in your business what your "mint" is. Do you personally call your clients to wish them a happy holiday? Do you send your clients a tote bag just because? etc.
And since it's the holidays, I am giving something away!
